The Drop-In Safe Center is a joint project of the Jay/Orchard Street Area Neighborhood Association (JOSANA) and the University of Rochester Department of Community & Preventive Medicine. Located at the corner of Smith and Whitney, near downtown Rochester, NY, this Drop-In Safe Center serves a wide-variety of community needs, including:
- Tutoring and afterschool learning opportunities
- Internet access
- Health referral information
- Meetings and special events
- "Block Captain" Headquarters for JOSANA
- U of R Medical Student Community Health site
